GTA Companion is an independent companion app for players who want to plan their GTA Online week. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.

iPhone app

Free weekly checklists do not require an account. Checklist progress, counters, plan settings, and display preferences are stored on your device. Optional Pro subscriptions use an email account and a one-time sign-in code. We store the account email, protected sign-in and session identifiers, an account-to-purchase identifier, Apple transaction identifiers, and the verified subscription plan, status and expiry. The device keeps a protected account session.

Apple handles purchases and payment details. Our server verifies signed purchase data and checks subscription status with Apple to restore access and process renewals, expiry and refunds. Cloudflare hosts the service and account database; our email provider delivers sign-in codes. Technical request data is processed by hosting and security providers. Provider log retention and any required billing-data retention are being confirmed before publication. Plan inputs and checklist progress are not included in Apple purchase verification.

Android app

Free weekly checklists do not require an account. Checklist progress, counters, plan settings, and asset selections are saved on your device. If you choose Pro, we ask for an email address, send a one-time sign-in code, and keep a protected account session on the device. Our server stores the account email, hashed sign-in code and session identifiers, and your verified Google Play subscription state, plan, expiry and encrypted purchase token. We use this information to verify and restore Pro access, process renewals and cancellations, and prevent a purchase from being assigned to another account.

Google Play handles the purchase and payment method. Our service verifies the purchase through the Google Play Developer API. We use Cloudflare to host the service and store account records, and an email provider to deliver sign-in codes. Provider log retention and any legally required billing-data retention must be checked before publication. Plan inputs and checklist progress are not sent with the Google Play purchase verification request.

Web/PWA accounts and subscriptions

Your account controller is Przemysław Gontarz (GTA Company), Geodetów 30/60, 08-110 Siedlce, Poland; contact support@gtacompanion.net. We use your email, protected sign-in and session references, and verified subscription records to provide your account and Pro access. Account and service processing is necessary for the contract or steps you request before entering it (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).

We record the trial plan, start, end and prior use, as well as customer, subscription and invoice references, amounts, currencies, access periods, refunds and disputes. Security and preventing repeated trial claims serve our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)); you can contact us to challenge an incorrect eligibility result. We do not store your card number or full Stripe webhook payloads. Cloudflare hosts the service and database; Resend delivers sign-in emails. Stripe and Link collect payment details directly and process transaction data for their payment and Merchant of Record services under their privacy notices.

A sign-in link is valid for 15 minutes and can be used once in the requesting browser. A session lasts up to 30 days unless you log out or it is revoked. These validity limits are not automatic deletion deadlines for database records. We keep account data while providing your account and retain records needed for unresolved payments, disputes, security and applicable legal recordkeeping. Contact support to request closure or to ask which retention requirements apply to your records. Device checklist progress is stored locally and is not part of payment verification.

You can request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability, and object to legitimate-interest processing, subject to the applicable conditions. You may complain to a competent supervisory authority, including Poland’s UODO. To request web account deletion, email support@gtacompanion.net. Cancelling renewal is a separate action: use Manage subscription on your account page to stop future charges. Stripe/Link handle their own data requests separately; mandatory retention and unresolved transactions may limit erasure.

Optional website measurement is controlled by the consent choices shown on the website. Newsletter signup is separate from creating an account or choosing Pro.

Your choices and contact

You can use free mobile checklists without creating an account. To request deletion of an iOS or Android Pro account and associated data, open Pro in the app, sign in and choose Delete account. The app shows the processing time and request status. We store a request reference, processing status and timestamps to fulfil the request. Read our account deletion information.
